Tessa Vinje

Tessa Vinje is a Norwegian-American marine biologist who spent eight years at the University of Bergen's aquaculture research station studying crustacean immune responses before moving into science journalism. She holds a PhD in marine biology and has written for Hakai Magazine, Atlas Obscura, and bioRxiv's Signals blog. Her work focuses on the hidden immune systems of animals most people never think about.
