Saskia Vermeulen

Saskia Vermeulen is a science journalist with a PhD in plant molecular biology from the University of Cambridge, where she worked on transgenic Arabidopsis and floral pigment biosynthesis. She has spent the last decade covering synthetic biology, agricultural biotech, and consumer-facing genetic engineering for outlets including Nature, The Atlantic, and Wired.
