Senior climatologist and fire-weather researcher. PhD in atmospheric science from the University of Melbourne, post-doctoral work at CSIRO Climate Science Centre. Spent a decade on the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC legacy program studying compound climate-fire risk across southeastern Australia. Has briefed AFAC pre-season outlooks and contributes to the BoM State of the Climate reporting cycle.
